Kuwait Hospital Signs Collaboration Partnership With Safya International
Kuwait City – July 1, 2020: Kuwait Hospital has signed a collaboration partnership with Safya International, a company that provides sustainable solutions for a more environmentally friendly hospital environment.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, Kuwait Hospital has committed to adopt the Recycle Kuwait Program, an education program designed to promote behavior and practices that reduces environmental impact. The initiative is an important step in Kuwait Hospital’s mission to go green by being mindful of the natural environment and making economic choices that are not harmful to the planet.
Kuwait Hospital is highly committed to contribute to the UN sustainable development goals and to follow all laws, regulations, and other policy mechanisms concerning the environment. In minimising the environmental impact of operations, Kuwait Hospital has developed an internal waste management process in alliance with Recycle Kuwait Industrial Program to collect hospital paper and plastic waste for recycling purposes. Driven by international standards and a robust Swedish environmental governance framework, Kuwait Hospital aims to contribute to the Kuwaiti medical sector with advanced services and expertise, while taking responsibility for business effects on environmental and social wellbeing.
